WHAT ARE THE AWARD CATEGORIES?
The TOP Africa Awards feature three carefully curated elite categories:
- Champion Giver of the Year
- Best Global Icon of the Year
- Man of the Year
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VOTING AND NON-VOTING CATEGORIES?
Voting categories allow the public to select their preferred winners through our official online portal. In contrast, Man of the Year category which is the only non-voting category is determined through supreme validation.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE TOP AFRICA AWARDS?
Eligibility for the TOP Africa Awards is exclusively open to Nigeria's highest echelons of excellence in business, entrepreneurship, sports, entertainment, technology, and the arts, who have demonstrated measurable societal impact or possess verifiable records of global achievements in their respective fields.
HOW DO I GET NOMINATED?
Kindly submit your nomination application through our official portal at: www.topafricaawards.com.
CAN A NOMINEE BE NOMINATED IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY?
No. A nominee cannot be nominated in multiple categories. Consequently, a nominee is eligible to win in a category for which they have been nominated.
IS THE MAN OF THE YEAR CATEGORY OPEN FOR PUBLIC VOTING?
No. While the Champion Giver of the Year and Best Global Icon of the Year categories are determined by public vote, the Man of the Year is not a public-voting category.
DOES MY NOMINATION APPROVAL AUTOMATICALLY MAKE ME A NOMINEE?
Yes. Nomination approval automatically confers nominee status.
WHAT IS THE YEAR-IN-REVIEW?
The Year-in-Review defines the 12-month eligibility period during which the measurable philanthropic impact, global achievements, and supreme social influence of the distinguished nominees are evaluated.
WHAT IS THE TOP AFRICA AWARDS TROPHY MADE OF?
Each trophy is cast from 999.9 pure 24-karat solid gold. Every piece is accompanied by an official Certificate of Authenticity issued by a premier licensed bullion refinery, verifying the exact purity and weight of the award.

WHEN DO THE TOP AFRICA AWARDS TAKE PLACE?
